Thermaltake announces the readiness of the V9 BlacX Edition, the first mid-tower to feature a built-in dual-bay docking station (found on top) which enables quick access to 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives. Thermaltake's new case measures 490 x 215 x 480 mm and weights 6.85kg, is colored in black both inside and out and boasts four exposed 5.25-inch bays a top I/O panel with one audio, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port.
There are also pre-drilled holes for watercooling tubes at the back, and three fans - a 120mm (1000 RPM) fan with blue LEDs in front, a 120mm (1400 RPM) TurboFan (rear), and a 230mm (800 RPM) Silent fan on top. The V9 BlacX Edition also enables the tool-free installation of 5.25-inch, 3.5-inch drives and PCI devices and is expected to go on sale in August with a price tag of $99.
