I’ve ever used. And while I’ve used and loved some of the competition, the X-T30 is the phone I would most recommend to a serious photographer.
In terms of functionality, the X-T30 can shoot video and stills with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 and a bit more than 16:9 aspect ratio. It has 8GB of internal memory and 64GB of storage, but you can upgrade to 256GB via the microSD card slot. (It’s also compatible with a microSD card for expansion.) In addition, the X-T30 has a 1.5-inch touchscreen with a simple, clear, no-nonsense bezel. The camera also has optical image stabilization, similar to what you get in the Pixel 3 and 3 XL. I also liked the inclusion of the X-T20’s dual Pixel 3 XL lens, which is especially useful for low light shooting.
The X-T30 sports a 5.8-inch 22MP camera with a 24MP front-facing one as well as a 4MP rear-facing one. It also has a 12MP Ultra Wide-angle lens and a 2MP wide-angle one. The X-T30 has a 1.3-megapixel selfie camera, but it also has a dual-lens camera capable of taking stills at 1080p resolution. The X-T30 has a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it supports WiFi connectivity.
The X-T30 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 for wired charging. This means you can sync up your phone to the X-T30 and use the device’s camera to take photos. The X-T30 also has a fingerprint sensor that lets you unlock the phone using a fingerprint.
The X-T30 will support wireless charging, but it won’t work as seamlessly as USB-C. Also, the power button is located on the back of the phone rather than the top, which means you won’t be able to use it to quickly access the power button.
What sets the X-T30 apart from the rest of the competition is that it’s waterproof, has a fingerprint sensor, and has an optical image stabilization system. Plus, it has a headphone jack, Wi-Fi, and a fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S9 & S10
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S10 are both excellent phones—they both have the latest and greatest Snapdragon 835 chipset, have Android 9 Pie, and have plenty of storage—but the S9 has a few extra features worth considering.
