The lens is the new 18-55mm equivalent, and it’s a great lens. It has one of the fastest focusing speeds on the market, and the focal range is quite expansive.
The lens is wide enough to cover a wide area and the focal range is pretty wide, too, too. I got some slight fiddling with the controls before I got it right, but it is very easy to use.
