2. Alesis Micro Headphones – Best for Gaming
We’re not really big fan of the sound isolation of these. These headphones are a bit of an improvement over previous Alesis headphones, but still the isolation is not as good as that of other Alesis we’ve reviewed.
The earcups on these are made of double-coated foam. While they aren’t as comfortable as some of the other options we’ve reviewed, it’s still nice to have an option.
The Microphones also don’t have much bass on them. It’s not a big problem, but we’d like the headphones to have a bit more of the low-end.
The sound quality on these headphones is exactly why these are our recommended option for gaming and entertainment. These are a great pair for bass heavy music and sound, and the detail is exactly what you’d expect from a more expensive pair of headphones.

While these headphones are not going to be the best gaming headphones under $100, they’re still an excellent choice for casual use.

The Microphone comes with two types of cables (1.5mm and 3.5mm) and a 3.5mm jack. These headphones don’t have any kind of dongles, which is a bit more of a bummer, but it’s a little more convenient than it is for some other options.
