It’s a shame that there’s no storage option, because there’s a lot to be said for the convenience. A lot of generators on the market have a pretty small amount of storage space, but many can hold a decent amount.
As such, we opted to go with a good sized unit that could hold a lot of fuel, and we were able to put it in the top spot as the best portable generator for a number of reasons. First off, with such a large capacity it’s easy to fit it into a car, and you’re also going to find yourself going through a lot of space.
The device comes with a 1-meter power cord, which is a little on the small side, but still plenty.
The battery power is a little on the small side, but it’s always good enough to give you some fuel while you’re working.
There’s a fairly solid output of 30 amps, which is more than enough to get you going.
One thing that we did notice is that the output isn’t going to be as strong as some of the other portable generators out there. If you’re in a really small area that you’re not going to need to draw too much, then a little less than the listed amps is fine.
We also think that the power cord wrap around the entire device, which is a nice feature. It can really improve the overall utility of the device.
Overall we thought the design of the device was great, and we really appreciated that it had a power cord that wrapped around the whole unit, which was a nice feature.
