We get used to test fast RAM memories from Kingston Company. Hyper X brand was, until now, associated with fastest RAM modules. Still, Kingston decided to utilize this very recognisable brand on other Kingston products. So, thanks to that we were introduced to Kingston DataTravel HyperX USB flash memory. Of course, right from the start, we figured that we got one very fast device (brand name can tell you a lot), but we couldn’t know, how fast...

As later turned out - it is fast like a true champion! Loud and clear, this is the fastest tested USB flash memory, up to now. And to be honest we’ve seen HDDs with worse results from those that you can find in results table for Kingston DataTraveler HyperX.

Quality made is on top level and it was used very quality plastic. On side of the device is placed signalized indicator.

As well as all new Kingston DataTraveler USB flash disks, even HyperX has “sliding” mechanism, which is praiseworthy option. You cannot lose a cap (maybe because it doesn’t exist) and USB connector is completely protected. In package goes “lace”, but also World of Warcraft account (that lasts 10days) and you can activate it by clicking on link that you get with your flash drive. Even though device has a bit “stronger” price, we are of opinion that Kingston DataTraveler HyperX will still find a way to those users that don’t care for the price but do care about exceptional quality and design. Flash itself has 2GB memory. There are versions of this device with bigger capacity.

All these attributes contributed in favor of Kingston DataTraveler HyperX to win an InsideHW Approved Award.
