Logitech Cooling Pad N100 has modern lines and it is made out of pastel colored plastic that will blend in almost any environment. One of the most frequent adjectives that we heard when we showed it to innocent bystanders was: cute. Build quality is, as expected, very high with all edges nicely smoothed out and fitted.

Upper segment is colored as most of the PC chassis were colored back in ‘90s (white-ish, ivory-ish like color that was some gray tones), while bottom part is colored in pastel green. Middle of the upper surface is dominated by a grill that hides a fan. Bottom is similar to upper surface with addition of cable storage space.

On the upper grill are mounted rubber pads that can be moved to a position that suited best your laptop. With this cooler you can use laptops up to 15.4-inch in size but even 16-inch ones are not too difficult to use on one of these.

Logitech Cooling Pad N100 doesn’t have any switch so fans are powered the moment you connect this cooler to laptop USB. Noise levels are acceptable but, on the other side, airflow is not too impressive. Since whole Cooling Pad N100 is made of plastics its thermal conductivity is not that good, which in combination with low RPM fan provides only moderate cooling results. If you have a laptop that needs serious cooling, this is not model for you.

Conclusion

Logitech Cooling Pad N100 is suited for users that will appreciate its ergonomic properties combined with simple and pleasing design. Without additional USB hub and switches, N100 offers basic functionality at accessible price.
