 If you are a proud owner of an notebook it is most likely that you don’t use it only at your work desk. If that is the case, Logitech has interesting new product for you: Comfort Lapdesk. “Natural environment” for Comfort Lapdesk to be used in, is living room or bedroom. One of the purposes of this “device” is to protect you from heat that is dissipated from the bottom of the notebook and second is to provide you comfort while using notebook in your lap by increasing stability that results in better body posture. Logitech Comfort Lapdesk is not notebook cooler so if you are looking for a device that will chill your notebook this is not right solution for your problems.
Most people that saw Logitech Comfort Lapdesk came to conclusion that this is one of Apple products because of its simple design and bright color. It is consisted of tree layers. Upper layer is made of plastics and has rectangular shape with rounded edges and corners. It has piano finish so it’s not suited as optical mouse pad. Layer below is made of same plastics material that has same shape but it has hole and it is bended in a way that it creates 12 degree angle between flat surface and upper layer. Thanks to this feature, Comfort Lapdesk makes using of your notebook easier and in more natural position: hands are better positioned for typing and monitor is closer to eye level and thanks to this neck pain after prolonged usage can be eliminated.

Third layer can be described as pillow that is shaped as second (curved) layer. This layer is in direct contact with your body (knees and thighs) and is made of sponge material with netted (netlike) surface to provide better comfort. At first we thought that this pillow-like material is too soft but when we placed a notebook on Comfort Lapdesk it maintained its shape and nicely and firmly stood on our lap. Comfort Lapdesk has pretty large upper surface so it can be used for 17 inch notebooks. Its weight, slightly less than one kilogram, won’t bother you too much.

Conclusion
Quality of Comfort Lapdesk is, as for all Logitech products, at top level. Since there are no moving parts and it’s not intended to be used as notebook cooler, price tag that is around 40€ might seem high. Frankly this price tag didn’t surprise us. Logitech in most cases makes top-class luxurious products that are intended for customers with deeper pockets. Logitech Comfort Lapdesk is intended for users that spare no expenses to make every moment of their life prettier and easier. This is also perfect gift for your friends that work from home.
