First we have to underline that this exact model ASUS intended for advanced users. Professional and "serious" look of this motherboard perfectly matches the purpose and group of users that ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution is intended for.

You will get, as usual, all necessary cables and equipment. But also there was small device, never seen so far in motherboard’s packages. Device is called “G.P.Diagnosis” card that’s supposed to be connected with motherboard using special connector. It is very practical addition to basic motherboard diagnostics because it displays frequencies of components or eventual failures for CPU, RAM, and GPU etc. Card will notify you where exact problem appeared and help you solve a problem. What makes this card even more interesting is possibility to be placed in vertical or horizontal position in relation to motherboard. Also on this card you can find reset and power button.

Interior

As we had opportunity to test so many motherboards, we can say that this Workstation is one of the most complete motherboards that we have seen so far. Layout of this motherboard is one of the best on the market at this moment, which also applies to passive cooling solution used on this motherboard. Heat pipe system doesn’t differ that much from previous top ASUS models, but main difference is in used materials. This time ASUS decided to use copper for heat pipes and ribs, which resulted in noticeable increase in motherboard weight.
