Second model is representative of fastest graphics card on the market at this moment. Of course, difference compared to other similar models is ASUS sticker. Packaging is spartan without additional accessories, but all basic components are there: VGA-DVI and DVI-HDMI converter, disc with drivers and all necessary cables. This card is equipped with two-slot referent cooling system which is absolutely expected for a card from “the house of lords”. This cooling system is also quiet and efficient. Below this “fancy” cooler are actually located two GTX260+ cards with 896MB GDDR3 memory each. GPUs are made in 55nm manufacturing process which resulted with lower power consumption and lower thermal dissipation. Because of this only one 8-pin and one 6-pin molex power connectors are enough but you can expect problems with cables because of this. Two DVI and one HDMI connectors at the back plate are expected although we would like to see another HDMI for advanced users since there is no S-Video output. Performances are fantastic, as expected, so if you decide to purchase this graphics card you won’t have to worry about performances in games in next year, year and a half.
