Conclusion

Wiimote on one of its sides has „tie“ i.e. rope to be tied around your wrist. This way, Wiimote is in your hand (or around it) in case you drop it, thus you cannot throw it onto the wall if you get upset. Since the first news regarding crashed TV sets in America due to dropping controllers out of hands, we couldn’t believe that this tie is so important and that you really have to use it. You will be warned about it more than once in any game you play on Wiimote.

However, we started to believe in all warnings after few hours of playing. It is really unbelievable how man turns off himself when he’s carried away by the game, thus the result after the very first day was – two punches onto the edge of the table, two punches on the chair back, one pretty strong punch on other player… If you can count it as appropriate test, then Wiimote earned good remarks, because it survived all these accidents without severe consequences.
Thus, beside the rope, you should really provide yourself with sufficient maneuver space within the room in which you are playing.
