First touch screen model of BlackBerry was eagerly awaited for years. Storm was announced as revolutionary device that will fuse business functionality, perfect screen and QWERTY touch screen keyboard. Also Storm was announced as “iPhone killer” that is slightly pricier but worth every penny. Was all this hype around Storm worth it, or not?
New BlackBerry model that was launched by Research In Motion (RIM) in last week of January, belongs to Curve series although it is actually similar to 
New HP Smartphone appeared on the market roughly at the same time as BlackBerry Bold and Nokia E71 and this didn’t make its battle for the best market position any easier. Design of this device contributes to the fact that it fits pretty good in both hands, but because of slight extension on right side, we must notice that it provides more natural handling to right-handed users. However, no matter in which hand you are holding it, navigation commands are very easy to get to.
After interesting HTC PDAs we got in our test lab one more device from the same category that we’ve been waiting with great impatience. With launching of Omnia, Samsung joined to, more and more, interesting race for the best PDA device on the market. How did Samsung done its homework you can find out very soon.
From the first moment we took new Smartphone from RIM Company into our hands it was obvious how it got its name: Bold. Basic design resembles its older brother Curve. Elegant and business oriented design will impress almost everyone. Somewhat bigger dimensions than Curve are consequence of bigger screen and frame made of metal alloy. All used materials are top-quality with no gaps and squeaking sounds or problems with breaching light.
