Page 2 of 4 Dell 2005WFP seems to have all what it takes. OSD offers adjustment for simultaneous tracking of two sources for images PIP (Picture in Picture) and PBP (Picture by Picture) regimes. Freedom of horizontal screen turning is provided in base joint, with additional possibility of adjusting height in pivot position. So far, we did not notice any major bright pixels in background illumination, although we cannot say for any TFT that black color is uniformly spread all over the screen. We have to admit, we expected more from color display, although several mild faults, mostly visible in green part of specter are not such a big problem.
On the other hand, excellent dynamics enable practical enjoying in wide palette of colors, much bigger than one might expect taking declared contrast value in consideration. Viewing angle completely fills our expectations, so image on this monitor looks wonderful even if you are now looking from position where earlier the perspective itself would trouble you. Since its very origin, In-Plane Switching technology has deficiency in form of slow response time, but improvements and adding an epithet “Super” in front of its name significantly reduced this problem. Still, practical tests of this model show that users spoiled with TN + Film models would probably not be so full of understanding and accept these results as improvement.
