AOC 619Fh

This model is monster in many ways! We expected that monitor with 26 inch screen diagonal will be big but manufacturer didn’t make even a smallest effort to design it with some sense for finesse. Wide frame around panel and depth of nearly 10cm make this monitor a huge black plastic box in any working environment. Surprisingly even this model is quality made with quality materials used and nice final finish on all surfaces and edges. There are not much ergonomic accessories that are worth mentioning except 4-port USB hub located on left side that can be very useful. All other connectors are located at the back side (audio connectors for integrated speakers, HDMI etc). OSM menu is also very rich in option that can be used to set all those parameters that will be used on very rare occasions, but this time there is options for setting lower (non-native) resolution scaling. Only problem was that we didn’t manage to set this model to display correctly 1600x1200 picture which is in perfect correlation to monitor’s native 4:3 ratio.

Display of colors and gradients had few imperfections (similar to previous model) that we couldn’t correct despite abundance of options in OSD menu. Few minor imperfections in gradient display isn’t something that will disqualify this monitor, but bad viewing angles will as it is the case with AOC 619FN. Viewing angles are that bad that if you take a look at picture on this monitor that is consisted of just one color and move a bit, you will see how blue and red color appear. On the other hand there is no backlight breaching at all. Test of response speed revealed effects that are characteristics of monitors with overdrive technology, so even if manufacturer didn’t mentioned overdrive in specification it looks like it owes its good speed results to one of those.
