Cooler Master Hyper Z600

Most users are irritated with noise that their computer makes. Therefore, we can find on the market numerous “silent” solutions that will solve that particular problem. Yet, there is always “BUT”. With summer heats on the way it is just impossible to cool your processor with passive cooler. But, Cooler Master has a solution even to this problem. ...

780G Chipset Motherboards Roundup

Since the number of motherboards based on AMD 780G chipset gets bigger and bigger, we decided to compare them forthright and to identify possible differences. Popularity of this chipset is shown in accessibility of motherboard based on it, superb integrated graphics and few more useful options. This kind of systems are great for multimedia computers because 780G will provide for this type of machines enough performances and of course, like any ATi, good display of colors.   ...

Kingston DataTraveler HyperX

We get used to test fast RAM memories from Kingston Company. Hyper X brand was, until now, associated with fastest RAM modules. Still, Kingston decided to utilize this very recognisable brand on other Kingston products. So, thanks to that we were introduced to Kingston DataTravel HyperX USB flash memory. Of course, right from the start, we figured that we got one very fast device (brand name can tell you a lot), but we couldn’t know, how fast... ...

Force3D ATi HD4870

Radeon HD4800 series of graphics cards is real refreshment in these days. Every new generation of GPU brought a big shift in performances and ATi this time showed us that top model graphics chip (RV770) doesn’t have to be expensive. Based on experience from previous HD3850 and HD3870 models, we expected that new model HD4870 will dominate in middle-high class, with lower price and higher performances than other competitors. But, we were wrong… Tests showed something quite unexpected. Still, before benchmark results let’s see what new GPU offers. ...

Intel Pentium E2140/2160 and C2D 6320/6420 PDF Print

When we previously introduced the E4000 Intel C2D processor series, we made a prognosis that when E6320 and E6420 C2D models appear on the market, other series are to experience a drastic price cut. Our expectations have proved to be true, quite logically. By following its “cut prices – produce a new CPU” policy, Intel consciously compelled AMD itself to renounce a large amount of money. But AMD still managed to relentlessly hold the lower-end range of dual-core processors (e.g. AMD X2 3600+ Brisbane costs around 65 €). As AMD drastically lowered the prices for its products, the “blue giant” decided to inflict another low kick to its “green” enemy with the E2000 processor series.

If you deduced from this article's title that its topic was comparing NetBurst to Core architecture, you were wrong. NetBurst is already history, whereas the Core architecture is the very high-end of CPU offer nowadays. Some will remember the day of “Pentium's” departure as a brand with nostalgia, but Intel postponed this moment once again. Thus we have in front of ourselves the “Pentium E2000” CPU series. All these things taken into consideration, this is obviously a smart move by Intel. First of all, the new CPUs are based on the Core architecture, and secondly, everyone on this planet has heard of the “Pentium” brand (as a matter of fact, this text's author is often asked by this grandfather which Pentium he is currently using).

During the years, we got used to processors branded “Celeron” filling up the low-end market segment. This principle seems to have a future, so we presume that this brand will be used for the upcoming 400 series. Much has already been told about the E6000 CPU series already. Still, the story continues with the C2D models E6320 and E6420 at hand. So, let's see what all these processors are about.
