Auslogics releases a new free Windows sidebar tool – Fileinspect Sidebar Gadget. With this gadget users will not have to open the Task Manager to view the most resource-heavy processes.
Some processes, like svchost.exe, are known to consume 80%-100% of CPU and some applications, like Firefox, can use large amounts of RAM. Whenever this happens, your computer becomes a lot slower and might start freezing up. Or the problem could be caused by malware pretending to be a harmless Windows process. That’s why it’s important to know how each process affects your computer performance.
Fileinspect Sidebar Gadget displays all the information you need in the sidebar and provides you information about the most resource-heavy processes running on your computer. It displays how much CPU and RAM each process uses. You can view a detailed process description by clicking on the magnifying glass sign. The gadget is fully customizable - you can choose the number of processes to display, processes update frequency, and what do you want it to display - CPU or RAM usage.
Fileinspect Sidebar Gadget works with Windows Vista and Windows 7 and can be downloaded HERE .
