Sharkoon Technologies, IT manufacturer from Germany has just revealed the USB LANPort 100 and 400, a couple of adapters to help you connect USB-supporting devices to a local area network, without NAS or Router support for external storage devices. The compact devices includes an Ethernet connector and one (100) or four (400) USB ports for hooking up things like flash drives, external/portable HDDs/SSDs, printers, and docking stations.
The USB LANPort 100 and 400 are bundled with a tools CD, a patch cable
and a power adapter, and should become available very soon at 23 Euro
and 37 Euro, respectively.
