Verbatim has bigger and better booth with more products displayed than on any trade show we have ever been. Among really numerous interesting stuff, one that was at the spotlight wasMediaStation HD DVR. If you are familiar with Verbatim products, you will know that there was one MediaStation before this one. New one is bigger and nicer, with a display at the front, as one thing to see on the first glance. This display now replace older OSD controls, and you now do not have to power on TV just to play some music.
There is Analog/Digital tuner (DVB supported) which gives you few nice
possibilities, like watching TV show recorded while you were out (EPG
is supported), or using time shift, while pausing football game to
answer the door bell. MKV is now supported, and beside internal HDD
which comes in half or full Terabyte package, you can attach USB drive
or just stick memory card to browse them. On the back side we noticed
HDMI (up to 1080i resolution), as well as optical and Coaxial SPDIF ,
meaning that it is full prepared for Home Entertainment joy. There is
standard LAN connector on the back side, but if your home is completely
wireless you can upgradeMediaStation HD with wireless dongle.
