Foxcon releases its first motherboard based on the AMD 890GX platform. Model A9DA-S supports the latest AM3 processors and the upcoming six-cores. It also supports dual-channel DDR3-1600 memory up to 16 GB, and has an integrated GPU, Radeon HD 4290, as well as the support for Hybrid Crossfire and DVI, HDMI and optical S/PDIF outs. By using another discrete graphics card, you can form a Hybrid Crossfire mode to enhance performance, productivity and efficiency.
The new motherboard also has 14 USB 2.0 and 2 Firewire connectors, together with five SATA 6 Gbps ports. New SATA interface doubles the bandwidth comparing to SATA 3 Gbps, and you can use up to 4x transfer speeds when using RAID 0 (Stripe) mode on this board. Integrated graphics with Sideport memory can achieve over 2200 points in 3DMark 06, and the board has integrated Power and Reset buttons, debug LEDs and voltage testing points.
