Dell debuts the Vostro 3000 line of business laptops |

Dell has announced the Vostro 3000 series of small business-oriented laptops which use Intel 32nm Core processors. The new SMB portable PCs introduced by Dell are the 13.3-inch Vostro 3300, the 14-inch 3400, the 15.6-inch 3500 and the 17.3-inch 3700, and they feature Core i3/i5 CPUs (Core i7 options available for the 3700), up to 8GB of RAM, a HDD of up to 500GB, a DVD writer, and Intel integrated graphics, or a GeForce 310M 512MB dedicated graphics card (the GeForce GT 330M 1GB is also, a 3700-only option).
The business machines have an aluminum enclosure, spill-resistant keyboard, a built-in 2.0 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, wireless WAN, an optional fingerprint reader, and a 4/6/8/9-cell battery. Dell's Vostro 3300 laptops can be pre-loaded with Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Ubuntu, and have starting priced of under $800.
