Mio Launches Ultra-Slim 4.7” Moov S500 with Spirit Navigation Software PDF Print

Mio launched portable navigation device Mio Moov S500 that features a 4.7” widescreen, 13.9mm ultra slim design and the breakthrough navigation software Mio Spirit, which boasts an easy-to-use intuitive user interface.

The user-centric Mio Spirit UI redefines the menu flow and map view with an intuitive Menu Button and menu control that provides quick access to the main menu and major functions at a touch of the screen. The newly designed TruMap map view, removes cluttered information on the top of the map, providing the clear and clean maps for easier navigation.

Mio S500 features:
          –  The Lane Guidance function that displays clear lane instructions, whilst Junction Views provides realistic 3D images of signposts and turn indicators, for making the right turn at the right time
          –  Explore Mode provides a new way to explore your surroundings by browsing maps and seeing all nearby POIs at a glance
          –  Keyword Search makes searching for POIS even more intuitive, allowing users to input keywords to find the place they need. Users can even combine keywords, like place and city names, for more specific search results. For richer POI content, the Mio Moov S500 even includes an integrated Travel Book, for details like historical data, business hours and other useful facts
          –  The Mio S500 provides a Capture Button for instantly recording details of journeys, locations or voice memos to My Places for future revisiting from their PC
          –  The new Economical Routing function - provide you with the most fuel-saving route. Users can even know the fuel consumption with the Mileage Reporter from MioMore Desktop 2, which retrieves the mileage data from your device and calculates the fuel economy for you. Other useful features, such as Speed Limit Warnings and real-time Traffic Alerts, also help you to drive safe and arrive at your destination quickly
          –  Google Maps is supported for users to pick a location on maps and transfer them directly to “My Place” for route planning. MioMore Desktop 2 PC software provides PC route planning function and NavPix Photo Navigation, which allows users to download free geo-encoded photos from Flicka and then transfer them for navigation
          –  Moov S500 provides the Bluetooth wireless technology for making the hand-free calling and keeping your hands on the road
