Hi!
I want to buy this board and a Sapphire HD 3870 Ultimate (with passive cooler at the back).
Can you tell me exactly how high the northbridge cooler measured from the pcb is? It has to be <= 35mm for the card to fit.

As far as I can see cooler on northbridge is same hight as pci slot. Take a look at bottom picture at first page of review: http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Motherboards/ASUS-P5Q-Pro.html

I think that you shouldn't have any problem inserting graphics card into pci-e slot.
