Hello,<br /><br />First of all, sorry if this post is in the wrong category.<br /><br />I own a Compaq Presario 1500 but some months ago tt seems that is overheating and the Fan is <br /><br />always on and sometimes at full speed. there is nothing else you can do.. if fan is working properly, there is slight possibility that system / bios is reporting / reading wrong temperatures, therefore forcing fan to its max speed.<br /><br />you can try updating to latest bios or changing the fan (if possible).

I think there's little you can do but you can try his advice.. Hope it helped..

There are coolers in the market now and cheap ones too.
You just place the laptop on it and presto it works.
It work for me.
