I don't think that you reached maximum overclock of that CPU and motherboard.

These guys here:

achieved better overclock on lower voltage.

Also with non-Black-Edition:

By altering the HT link multiplier, memory controller multiplier, and the HT link speed, and increasing the CPU voltage to 1.45v, we were able to take our Phenom X3 8750 to a cool 3.0GHz using nothing but a stock AMD PIB cooler. Higher frequencies were possible, but we couldn't keep the system 100% stable, so we backed things down to 3.0GHz. While running at that speed, we re-ran some tests and also monitored core temperatures and found that the chip never broke the 45ºC mark - at least according to AMD's Overdrive software.

Thanks for all that stuff, they really helped me

After some testing using some ideas that i've read from those reviews i realized that yes i have some headroom because i can get 3.3ghz using 1.5v because system is ok until i run prime around 1min and the cores start failing at 65º.
My problem is the cpu cooler that is not enough... right now at 3.0ghz it is rock solid, when i go gaming i get max load temps around 50º, testing with prime reaches 59º wich is critical temp leaving no headroom right now.

After all the polish finishing worked anyway because i used to get 58º when gaming and now i get 50º.

I'm going to buy a new cooler, i don't know if with a good piece of air cooling is enough.. water is a little bit expensive.. maybe with some of yours opinion i realize what is really worth.

Did you see this:
http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Cooling/Cooler-Master-V8.html

looks promissing

and if they are right you wont need to polish it that much.

I did take a look at that and it really looks promissing but it is a expensive air cooler, i'm thinking of buying the Xigmatek HDT-S1283.. It costs half the price and the performance looks very identical

Meanwhile i managed some more clock, 3.075 at same vcore 1.35v and it rock stable
Since i'm using Vista 64 bit, i read that it may not be possible to archive the same clock as using 32 bit version, is this true?
By the way, i've downloaded coretemp to monitorize temps and i notice that temps read there are inferior than using hwmonitor, i don't know what should i trust.. hwmonitor temps look similiar to bios temps.. it's a bit confusing.

I always trust temperatures that BIOS gives me so you should use hwmonitor as it shows values similar to those from BIOS.

Well if you aim for 24/7 stable overclock then there will be no difference in stability of 32-bit and 64-bit operating system. But if you are planing to investigate how high your CPU can be overcloked then you should use 32-bit version. I dont know why exactly but all overclock records are done on 32-bit OS.

Until now i was trusting bios and hwmonitor temps because seemed to be more accurate than those read from coretemp.. coretemp for me only displays core#0 temps.

I've ordered the Xigmatek Scorpion HDT-S1283 Cooler, as soon as it arrives i will post new details

Looking promising ... interesting that heatpipes are in direct contact with CPU heatspreader.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that this new cooler does the job and you get better overclock result.

I'm crossing my fingers too i sure need a cold breeze in my cpu.. I hope that it doesn't take as long to arrive as my mobo.. 3 weeks

I brought from work the new Cooler Master thermal paste Thermalfusion 400, but with this cooler i didn't realize big any diference, 1º or 2º max.. i was using Cooler Master premium before.
