One of big exhibitors on CeBIT 09 is MSI and they showed on their booth many interesting IT products. New model of Wind Top series, AE2010 is actually wide version of All-in-One concept with 20 inch display that belongs to same group as AE1900 (19 inch) and AE2200 (22 inch) touchscreen models. Although these models still exists as concepts we were impressed with design and quality of touchscreen displays that have bright and nicely saturated color. As announced all three models will be available in black and white color, while transparent frame in combination with white colored chassis incredibly resembles Apple designed products.

New X series of notebooks was presented with few models that is focused on dimensions, performances and aesthetics. Thin, light and fancy models X320 and X340 from X series are equipped with Atom and Penryn CPUs, integrated graphics card and 13 inch display and present themselves as worthy opponent in ultraportable arena. We should emphasize that focus on these models is design and built quality so these “little ones” look really impressive.

Besides X series GT series of notebooks, suited for gamers, got few newborns in shape of GT627 (16 inch, GeForce 9800M GS), GT628 (17 inch, GeForce 9800M GTS), GT725 and GT727 (17 inch, Radeon 4850). All those models are equipped with Core2Duo CPUs and up to 8GB RAM. GT725 is model that has slightly modified design compared to all other GT models because on this model all parts of exterior that are colored red on all other models, on this one, are colored gray.  Because of this GT725 is easily distinguished among all other gaming notebooks.

Beside these we also saw 10 inch ultra light notebook models with “U” prefix. This is first 10 inch platform with Atom CPU from N2xx and ultramobile Z5xx series. Model U115 attracted our attention above all with its battery that in combination with SSD and SATA disks, low power consumption of CPU and other components can provide 12h of autonomy. Hybrid storage results in faster operating system that is installed on SSD while HDD is used for data storage and in ECO mode can be shut down for lower power consumption. U115 model comes with 8GB or 16GB SSD and 120GB or 160GB SATA HDD. It weighs 1kg and its size is 26x18cm.
