Cooler Master
Booth where Cooler Master presented its product lineup had a lot of new and interesting products. Cooler Master continued to promote its new brand name: Choiix. This division of Cooler Master is oriented toward growing portable computers, or more exactly, toward accessories for notebooks. Products like bags, cases, notebook coolers and stands, USB hubs and similar that are, in most cases, targeting female user group can be found in Choiix product lineup. One of those sleeve cases caught our eye and its model similar to one that we already tested . When notebook is taken out of sleeve is can be used as stand that cools notebook thanks to aluminum plate.
One are that Cooler Master is famous for is cooling and chasses. Few models were presented and announced. After success of V8 cooler Cooler Master presented V10 cooler with advanced cooling properties. This is model that is intended for enthusiasts that doesn’t ask for price and it will be made in limited series. Quite opposite type of product is Hyper N520 that’s going to be attractive because of its price and innovative design. Four heat pipes come out of cooler base ending up in densely packed aluminum fins. Two fans can be mounted on this cooler but the interesting detail is their position. They are positioned in a way that “dead zones” (at the center of fan) are eliminated. Price of this model will be accessible to lot of users so if you plan on buying new cooler we suggest you to wait for this model to come out on the market because Cooler Master has high hopes for it.

Big premiere at Cooler Master booth had HAF922 chassis AKA “HAF mini”. Compared to its bigger brother this chassis has smaller dimensions and doesn’t have opening at top side for water cooling system. Because of these properties it is suited for users that don’t need big chassis with support for water cooling system, obviously, but the fact is that most users belong to this group and with lower price tag it can easily become best seller. When you take a look at “HAF mini” it is obvious that it belong to same blood line as HAF932. On the other hand with HAF932 Cooler Master made interesting modification and placed components of 5 computers into one chassis. In big HAF were placed 5 motherboards, with hard disks, CPUs, memory, coolers and all other elements that were powered by one 1KW power supply unit. For demonstration purposes 5 monitors, keyboards and mouses were connected to this “beast” that had 52.2GHz in total.
Most impressive product that was announced on Cooler Master booth was new Storm chassis that is still in concept phase, and it will be, maybe, called: Havoc. It belongs to same product lineup as Sniper chassis with improved elements. We got exclusive opportunity to take few pictures on this new chassis and its concept. Chromed front “grill”, big red Start button, fan controller and a lot of connectors look like a dash board of an racing car. Cooler Master announced that this chassis will have new protection system, different procedure for accessing interior of chassis, improved cooling system and lot of other details. For now just few details of what we can expect in next few months.
