Page 1 of 3 Our team went on CeBIT 2009 as many years before. As you already know CeBIT is beside CES and Computex, one of three biggest IT fairs on the world. Without any further delays here are the details of the first day of our visit. We present you Acer, Cooler Master and Western Digital.
Acer
On today’s press conference Acer confirmed that it is still third PC manufacturer in the world and second in notebook segment according to Gartner report for 2008. Acer also presented few new products in their portfolio from which new Acer One was most interesting to us, especially because this model managed to cache up in sales figures with ASUS model despite the fact that it appeared o the market half year latter.
New model is coloured differently and has different surface finish compared to old model. It also has bigger display: 10.1 inch. CPU used in new model is N270 (old model of Atom CPU at 1.6GHz) but we saw model with CPU at 1.66GHz (with faster FSB). As expected this model is based on Windows XP and welcomed accessories are BlueTooth along with choice between 3 cell and 6 cell battery. There will be available even better 6 cell battery with 5200mAh instead of 4400mAh. Depending on configuration 945GSE or Intel 82801 chipset will be used for even better performance level.
