ImageHard disks in our PCs and partitions created on them sometimes can get damaged, so they need to be fixed, resized, deleted or copied from time to time. Windows has its tool that can do some of these tasks but not all of them. There are many applications that are out there and this time we are presenting to you Partition Master.

Authors of this application are declaring that this is alternative to Partition Magic, most popular and acknowledged partition manager application, that is made by Symantec and not developed actively for some time. Upon installation and first start up we were welcomed with interface that is very similar to similar applications. Main window is divided into two parts: left is for Action Panel with all actions that can be done and on the right are disks and partitions that were recognized by Partition Master.

Application is very user friendly and fine tuning can be done using sliders without necessity to type in numerical values.  Right click in any partition will present you with a menu with additional options. You can resize and move partition without data loss but, also copy, erase, create, show content, format, change name and assigned letter to partition. Partition Master also supports converting from one file system to another, hiding and activating partition or checking partition for errors or bad sectors. Maybe this list can look as overkill but actually it isn’t and as additional plus there is warning message that suggests you to make a complete backup before any action that can be, potentially, dangerous.
