Three-dimensional video content, although currently only available in the tiniest proportions, seems to have become a trend that pushes the video industry forward. Owing to it, tens of new Blu-ray player models with 3D capabilities have been released, and that’s set off the 3D TV receiver industry as well. In order to watch 3D video content today, several prerequisites have to be met: owing a Blu-ray player with 3D playback capabilities, a corresponding HDMI cable (in accordance with the HDMI 1.4 specification), 3D TV and 3D glasses. Although all these products are usually bought separately, we’re going to present LG’s BX580 3D Blu-ray player and 47LX9500 3D TV, along with the accompanying AG-S100 3D glasses.
