Home - News - Software - 3DMark Vantage Basic Edition now free 3DMark Vantage Basic Edition now free Written by Ivan Todorovic Monday, 14 March 2011 22:53 View Comments Futuremark has offered a treat to gamers and enthusiasts by retiring the (extremely limited) Trial version of 3DMark Vantage and making the Basic Edition, which was previously priced at $6.95, a free download. Beside making this change, Futuremark also rolled out the 1.1.0 version of 3DMark Vantage bringing the following: benchmark now scales the output to best fit the display; GPU physics acceleration is now disabled by default during the CPU tests; systeminfo component updated to version 4.0. 3DMark Vantage and the new update can be downloaded here.
