Windows 7 Whopper at BK

ImageMicrosoft has taken the unusual step of promoting Windows 7 in Japan with Burger King's launch of a Windows 7 Whopper. Fitting in with the software theme, the burger stacks seven patties in an otherwise normal Whopper and measures 5.1 inches tall. It also has an appropriate $8.53 price for first 30 daily customers  in each restaurant, with $17.10 price tag for the rest. The promotion will run until October 28th.

More than 1.5 million downloads in first week

Napster is on the move

ImageNapster and PC-maker Dell have signed a deal to have the electronics giant bundle new Inspiron and Studio laptops with a 12-month subscription to Napster's unlimited streaming music service.  In the US, the bundle will be worth $60 USD, but will also include 60 free tracks that can be downloaded and kept forever, even after the subscription runs out.
