Diablo 3 has been under development for many years and it is finally releasing later this year on May 15th 2012, up till now people have been taking part in the closed beta which was only open to people invited to it by the company but today Blizzard made the game an OPEN BETA meaning that anyone and everyone can play the game now and all you need is a Battle.net account and the game client itself, keep in mind though that the beta expires for all on May 1st so rev up those download managers pronto.
