SideChain Compressor is compressor with special (side-chain) purpose. You will use it for excelling leading elements in mix (bass-drum, vocals…). Increased input volume for leading channel automatically and proportionally decrease output volume of other subordinating channels in sound mixer. This is very useful because we actually want to avoid certain frequencies in master channel, so mix, or song, sounds much equalized and pleasant. With this compressor is guaranteed pure and clear signal for main mix elements, without interfering of other sounds which can result in compression “choking”.
