Real test for this mouse are games, of course, and specification data like 1ms response time and maximal speed of 235 inch/sec (~6 meter/sec) must be thoroughly tested. These values are marketing canard and present maximal values that can be hardly reached or measured by human hand, but does give a hint on how good this mouse is. Compared to other gaming rodents found in our test lab, like Logitech G5, Logitech G9, Razer Mamba and Roccat Kone, it offered smooth motion and exceptional precision. Detail that should be taken into consideration is uncommon design of mouse skates (feet). In case original skates get damaged, or worn out, standard replacement skates won’t help you, so we hope that, at some point in time, Cooler Master will offer original replacements.
We should also mention that mouse cable is sleeved (resembles a rope) and that USB connector is golden plated. Also, in the package is present rear slot cover (panel) that can be used to secure mouse and its cable to chassis in case you find yourself in a place with huge crowd. This cover is usually supplied with every Storm case.
