MSI offered to all gamers with limited budget G-Series of notebooks (G is for gaming). While most of other manufacturers classified gaming notebooks as higher range notebooks emphasizing more than just performances, MSI was led by a different logic. Driven by desire to cover as much as possible of the market, MSI turned the page and offered models that definitely move boundaries in quality sense comparing to previous notebook models from the same manufacturer.

After first wave of cheap netbooks, luxurious variants are starting to appear on the market. As it was the case with first netbooks, ASUS again made a first move in that direction and as result we got one crossbred luxurious netbook in our test lab. Even though ASUS N10J, technical sample that we got in our test lab,
looks like classic representative of netbook product (with slightly
bigger dimensions), it’s not that simple to determine its product
category. If we would try to define netbook product category in
general, we would say that they have: small dimensions, low power
consumption CPU, integrated graphics and no optical device. ASUS N10J
is all that and something more.

Toshiba’s trump card in area of affordable gaming notebooks is model F50. Although Toshiba’s X300 notebook series is meant for gamers and F50 doesn’t belong to that series, it does have certain qualities that can attract low-budget gamers that want to buy notebook. Despite the fact that Toshiba notebooks from A300 , P300 and F50 series have different looks, they share some design elements that Toshiba calls Fusion design.

If you look for familiar brand name when searching for your new notebook then HP will place itself on top of that list. If you don’t have large budget then you will most certainly look for models from “S” class and most probably it will be based on AMD platform. Notebook that satisfies all those characteristics came to our test lab and we are presenting to you: HP Compaq 6735s.

The appearance of first netbook by Asus, EEE PC, brought to polarization in public opinion. While supporters of netbook concept accentuated mobility and low price, opponents had some other arguments in their favor. First was the fact that work on such a small device is uncomfortable, and the second objection goes to its toyish looks that only goes hand in hand with young girls and boys. Time showed that new netbook models with 8.9-inch and 10-inch diagonals can offer to most users quite satisfactory work conditions and HP 2133 Mini-Note PC completely changed stereotypes when it comes to its toyish looks.
