Speaking from visual side, Microsoft approached to completely different designing procedure comparing to original console. Current dominant color is white (with ever-present green), and console itself can be put vertically and horizontally. Having in mind all those computers which often have themes from video games on their casings, Xbox 360 has changeable mask, and it is very easy to experience a „plastic surgery“. Disregarding a mask, on the front side of console is dominant „tray“ for DVD (this time being clearly noticeable comparing to Xbox), then remote control receiver, two connectors for memory cards, synchronization button, USB ports and switch on button surrounded by luminous ring. This ring not only has visual dimension, but indicates number of connectors being connected at that moment. On rear side there are adapter connector, A/V port, connector for network card and another, already mentioned USB.

On the other hand one thing you will probably dislike is the fact that adapter weights as several consoles in the same package, and cable is slightly shorter, so there is no way of to place it on the ground if Xbox 360 is positioned on television, for instance. This slightly disturbs visual pleasure, and also requires putting additional supports on your table.
