Black color is mainly uniform on every part of the screen and minimum breaching of back light is localized along the top edge of panel. It’s our wish that the black color of the display is little bit darker on default settings, but we don’t find that as a fault because of exceptional screen brightness. Picture on this monitor just glitters without any “dirty” tricks. Contrast and color dynamics are uniform so it’s on the user to choose if he will use factory default settings (appropriate for multimedia) or use rich OSD menu to set up more natural picture. Default settings are flawless when it comes to color transitions. Vertical viewing angle is sufficient for comfortable working environment even for restless (antsy) users. Same goes for horizontal viewing angle.

Samsung is innovator in field of TFT monitor response time so it’s not
surprising that T220 showed itself as an achiever in this area. It
seems that these performances have reached their peak for the moment so
the road to perfect monitor goes through “ironing” other
characteristics. Ergonomics isn’t strong point of this model, but,
great performances, DVI connector and nice design are good
compensation. Price set for Samsung T220 is around 350€, although
reasonable, it isn’t much of importance for target user group.
