Conclusion
With one inch longer diagonal, 215TW brings plenitude of accessories. On the rear side we found DVI, D-Sub and component video input, with appertained stereo audio connectors performed in chinch and Philips 3.5mm variants. S-Video and composite inputs are located on the left side, along with another pair of chinch audio connectors. Since all other is on ergonomically appropriate position, we were not surprised with headphone output on the front. Stereo speakers are discretely allocated below the screen and they not disturb monitor layout too much, because upon the basic designer idea it does not have many differences from aforesaid model. All relevant mechanical options are present, and besides height adjusting option it has swivel and pivot functions. Because of numerous connectors, OSD menu is different than standard, thus inputs could be named, or one can choose wide or 4:3 display or to turn on PiP (picture in picture) or PBP (picture beside picture) functions and to set size and display position of the picture from secondary choice of signals. Beside usually separated button for automatic configuration, calling of PiP function and setting up sound volume can be performed without necessity to enter any menus.

According to different configuration of background illumination, lightness does not penetrate on most usual spots, by upper and lower edge, but it does on diagonal lines. Even this failure could be clearly seen in extreme conditions (completely black screen in completely dark room), in real operation we didn’t noticed any problems. Smoothly displayed nuance transitions are benefit to this model, but we had problems with green spectrum again. This time it is not about less precise display, but it is too bright display of darker nuances. Odd problem which could probably be solved by "odd" function within the menu - gamma adjustment by channels, but this one is not included. This lack, however, does not effectuate real operation in everyday situations. Response speed achieved by 215TW will be best characterized by the non-existing word - "playable". Turbidity (blurring) is not too marking, but minimal quantity of smooth ghosts will deter serious players. "Recreation" ones should not worry too much. Finally, we left unconditional praise for the end because for viewing angle, either horizontal or vertical, we can only convey our greetings. We didn’t expect anything less from S-PVA monitor.
