Making photos in water or in extreme conditions can be fun and this camera allows you just that. Quality of photos is good, colors are intensive, although some compromises were made to achieve full weatherproof camera. Glass that protects lens, and lens itself, resulted in a little bit “soft” areas along edges of photos.

If you need better quality of photos and don’t need a waterproof camera you should go for standard camera that can offer better picture quality. Response to commands is good. Buttons for zoom control are little bit sluggish and, in our humble opinion, have reverse functions (zoom-in is lower button, while zoom-out is upper button). Video quality is good, but during recording only digital zoom can be used, and that is not recommended.

Noise control is good for this type of camera and sensor (noise can be noticeable at ISO 200). One detail worried us all the time we were testing this camera: it sinks as a rock. As consequence, if camera slips out of your hands during diving be prepared to make an even deeper dive to get it back.
