Cooler Master
This brand is now well established in cooling solutions market, but it wasn’t the case few years ago. Cooler Master was known as brand name that has something to offer in mid-class product segment, but lately they begun to offer very interesting solutions in high-end class. Model Z600 is large form CPU cooler. It can be used as passive or active, when two 120mm fans can be mounted. Interesting fact is that this cooler performs the same on low and max RPM. This is consequence of low number of aluminum fins. It has proved itself as decent cooler, but it still belongs to lower product class compared to Cooler Master V8 model that is characterized by one fan and RPM controller. V8 model is also smaller compared to Z600 model, so it is better suited for smaller chasses. V10 model is next in lineup and it is, of course, better cooler than V8 for same amount as V8 is better than Z600 model. This is no surprise since V10 is monstrous cooler with two fans and TEC (Peltier element). Thanks to its size, V10 has one fan that can be used to cool down memory modules so you won’t need additional memory coolers. V8 and V10 achieve better performances as RPM of fans gets at higher values, which is consequence of densely packed fins. Mounting procedure of all Cooler Master models on this test is the same. Motherboard must be taken out of the cases (unless you have chassis with appropriate openings on motherboard mounting plate). Mounting procedure is simple and can be easily done by anyone because of very good manual.
