Firefox 3.5 is
based on the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering platform, which has been under
development for the past year and is supposed to bring 2x faster
rendering speed together with improved JavaScript engine . One of the
things we are pleased to see is Private Browsing Mode as it comes handy
when you are using somebody else PC, or PC in Internet Cafe. Another
useful thing is HTML 5 support for video and audio.
It
really bring dramatic improvement to rendering speed over previous
version, but problems known with from before like add-on
incompatibility emerges again. Even more, users reported that pictures
on some sites doesn't look as it should be. Problem is related to qcms
picture profile, that is supported up to ICC v2, what becomes a problem
to websites that used ICC v4. More on this topic you can find here.
If you still want to install newst version, you can download it here.
