Asus is going to release new nettop based on the ION platform next month. Coming in black or white, the EeeBox EB1501 packs a 1.6 GHz Atom (dual-core) 330 CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a GeForce 9400 IGP, a slot-in DVD writer, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. The nettop will offer D-Sub and HDMI outputs, has Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi, a 2-in-1 card reader, is bundled with a VESA mounting kit, and is expected to debut on December 7th with a starting price of $479.
