Lexar Media announced the introduction of its massive 16GB-capacity JumpDrive Secure II Plus USB flash drive. The 16GB Secure II Plus JumpDrive is intended for consumers and small business users who want to securely back up, store and share large files and amounts of data. In addition to providing users with 16GB of high speed memory, the JumpDrive Secure II Plus features the innovative and built-in capacity meter, along with advanced security software that ensures users they can protect their important documents, songs, photos and other files securely, knowing that their information is encrypted - even if the device is lost or stolen.
These features have made the JumpDrive Secure II Plus desirable for on-the-go consumers and anyone who wants reliable, safe and convenient file storage and transfer capabilities.

What makes this solution unique is that it requires no software drivers, no administrative privileges, and it works across platforms and functions independently of the operating system-giving users great flexibility and ease of use.
Users can easily create multiple password-protected areas using 256-bit AES encryption, then simply drag files into these secure areas for automatic encryption. When users drag the files out again, they are automatically decrypted.
As a special bonus for Windows-based road warriors, JumpDrive Secure II Plus comes pre-loaded with a free 30-day trial of Dmailer V7 software including also Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
