BIOSTAR Launches TA790GXE 128M Motherboard with G.P.U Technology |

BIOSTAR today announced the TA790GXE 128M. Recently, BIOSTAR, focusing on AMD latest 790GX chipset, has released a series of motherboards with energy-saving technology; among them, TA790GX A3+ has been available in the market, and new TA790GXE 128M is also available now.
TA790GXE 128M, based on AMD 790GX+SB750 chipset, ATX form factor, supporting Hyper Transport 3.0 FSB, Socket AM2/AM2+ for AMD processor, PCI-Express 2.0, and DDR-1066 memory modules. This motherboard, integrated with ATI HD 3300 display chipset and on board 128MB RAM, supports DX10 special affects and UDV technology. TA790GXE 128M is equipped with 2 PCI-Express x16 slots, which support dual CrossFireX mode with x8 speed, and which also can form multiple CrossFireX with integrated HD 3300. As for other slots, 2 PCI-Express x1 and 2 PCI slots; 4 DIMM slots support Dual Channel Mode DDR 1066 with Max capacity of 16GB; 6 SATA; 7.1 Channel Audio Jacks; 1000 Mbps LAN Port and SATAII. Also the motherboard supports HDMI, DVI, and Blu-ray DVD.
New motherboard from Biostar has exclusive features like 4+1-phase VRM design and GPU Technology. 4+1-phase VRM design has high quality power components such as low RDS (on) Mosfet for lower temperature and raises the overclocking ability for Phenom/ Phenom II CPU. BIOSTAR G.P.U (Green Power Utility) is a new function, that will enhance energy efficiency by disabling extra phases while CPU on light loading. It integrated a friendly GUI to monitor what's your CPU resourcing, response and optimized the power saving on your system.
