Cooler Master GeminII S

There were only few of us who could only guess that CPU air cooler GeminII will get its S version, just like it was the case with Cosmos case. GeminII S is possible to mount on every, at the moment, popular platform but we didn’t expect anything less from Cooler Master. That implies support for Intel LGA 775 or AMD 939/940/AM2 sockets. What we really liked is traditional metal black plate that we saw on Hyper Z600 model (frankly it was necessary for previous GeminII model). ...

Asus P5QL-E

Before we tell you anything concrete about ASUS P5QL-E we should clarify differences between Intel P45 and P43 northbridge. If you followed up IT scene in last couple of months you should definitely know that Intel’s P45 is the first chipset made in 65nm technology and that it introduced to us with few new technologies and higher overclock margin. One of most important new possibilities that were implemented into P45 was ability to divide PCI Express line into two x8 lines.   ...

Toshiba Satellite L300-11G

Beside Satellite A300 and P300 notebook series, Toshiba also released on market redesigned Satellite L series. We will introduce you with all novelties through testing of model Toshiba Satellite L300-11G. L series didn’t experience that much cosmetic changes like new A and P series did. We could even say that Satellite L300 is less “fancy” than its predecessor. Some of us will count that as big plus because L300 has above all “neutral” design. ...

ATi Radeon HD 4870 X2

Launch of nVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 280 brought a huge enthusiasm in last two months, but it already begun to fade. The main “culprit” is ATi which showed to all of us that even when hard times come they are continuing with good work as if competition isn't a problem and as confirmation of their efforts we got incredible new generation of graphics cards. The whole story started with great Radeon HD 4850 and continued with HD 4870 that had GDDR5 memory. After great critics for these two GPUs, ATi was aware that they shouldn’t stop there, if they want to overthrown nVIDIA from the top performance throne. And they did it… ...

The result of Asus’ R&D constant research is the innovative and intuitive VirtualReal interface. VirtualReal is able to make use of motion sensor abilities to pick up the user’s hand movements through the built-in camera (much like the talked-about scene in the sci-fi movie Minority Report); while through an intuitive touch screen and touchpad interface, it is also able to provide users with brand new user experiences.

Another different way to experience new computer operations and gaming interaction is the ASUS Eee Stick. This innovative controller incorporates one navigation controller, one activation controller, and a dongle to provide users with motion, pointing and tilt functions in a vivid and fun manner. The Eee Stick is also cross-platform compatible, and can be used in conjunction with PC game pads, mice and keyboards.
