During the Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, Blizzard finally unveiled the sequel to StarCraft, called StarCraft II. New game features well known races from original, while using brand new 3D engine. Thankfully, Blizzard decided to keep StarCraft as classic RTS.
New game will be compatible with both, Windows XP and Vista, while Blizzard still hasn't decided whether to include some exclusive DirectX 10 visual effects. Hardware requirements and release date are still unknown. First screenshots and trailers can be found on official web page of StartCraft II.
