For all BlackBerry-fans we have some good news. Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the BlackBerry 8820 smartphone featuring QWERTY keyboard, 320x240 display, user-friendly trackball navigation system, built-in GPS, microSD / microSDHC expandable memory slot that can support current and future generations of microSD memory cards up to 32GB, and Wi-Fi connectivity for data access and voice support through UMA (unlicensed mobile access) for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) service offerings from various wireless carriers around the world.

BlackBerry 8800 received many awards from press, but lack of Wi-Fi support was main concern for potential customers. With addition of GPS and Wi-Fi support, RIM is preparing smartphone that might take the company to the next level. If only they manage to keep BlackBerry's legendary battery life...
