<br />My new cpu cooler should be here today,<br /><br /> i was thinking about overclocking it to about 3ghz.<br /><br /> I have never actually overlcocked any cpu&#039;s so this is my first,<br /><br /> is there anything i should be aware of besides slowly increasing the HTT? <br /><br />i think the multiplier is locked on this chip. Thanks.

I&#039;ve seen X2 5600+ (Windsor) overclocked to 3.7GHz with multiplier 14 and FSB at 266MHz, but in conjuction with water-cooling.<br /><br />Try slowly increasing voltage and FSB speed.
