i really hope that microsoft&#039;s next windows server family will require less reboots. i&#039;ve had to reboot win2k3 r2 enterprise edition 6 times in less than 24 hours. and that doesn&#039;t even include the reboots it does during installation. there has to be a way to make the server roles more modular, so that the individual services can be restarted without bringing the entire server down. sorry, i just needed to vent. thanks for listening.<br />_________________<br />raccoon control parental control software

thank you for sharing your experience. you can just imagine what kind of trouble is installing new updates or so for 24/7 servers running windows os..

Why are you using Windows Server? If modular services is what you want, there&#039;s no better solution than Linux&nbsp; ;D
