System shows less memory than it really has 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi! I recently bought an Athlon X2 3800+ with the M2N-MX ASUS mobo; and bought two identical DDR2

PC5200 making a total of 1GB(2x512). But the BIOS says: Usable memory:856MB!? I think this is

because my motherboard has an onboard GeForce6100 that is sharing system ram... So is there a way

to completely disable the onboard video and get 1GB Usable memory?
_________________
low fixed rate Installment loan

Shared ownership spain

yeah, there should be such option.. try finding option where you set how much of system memory is dedicated to integrated graphics.. it is probably located in advanced features.
